LeBron James after ugly loss: 'We've got to be a team'

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Portland Trail Blazers

PORTLAND, Ore. — Coming here with a remade roster and beating a Portland Trail Blazers team that won 54 games last season was a tough enough task for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Playing basketball with defensive lapses and little semblance of offense made the job more difficult.

And doesn't LeBron James know it.

The Blazers torched the Cavaliers 101-82 Tuesday, and it's clear James is resigned to games like this one as his young and talented teammates learn to play the kind of basketball required to compete with the league's best teams on a regular basis.
