Well this is awkward.
The Detroit Tigers handed out Miguel Cabrera bobblehead dolls to the first 10,000 fans that arrived at Comerica Park on Friday night before the team played the Seattle Mariners. The Cabrera bobblehead is holding his 2012 and ’13 American League MVP awards, except there’s a major error on this collector’s item: both awards say National League MVP.
Oops.
After realizing the error, the Tigers released a statement, according to the Detroit Free Press:
“Forever Collectibles takes full responsibility for this error and we apologize to the fans. We are certainly disappointed this happened.”
