The most head-spinning trade deadline in recent memory -- maybe ever -- ended with a dozen deals, including a three-way swap involving 2011 AL Cy Young Award winner David Price.

Now, the hard part for fantasy owners is sorting everything out.

The highlight of the day came when the Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners worked out a deal that sent Price to Detroit, infielder Nick Franklin and left-hander Drew Smyly to Tampa Bay and outfielder Austin Jackson to Seattle.

Obviously Price is the key part of the deal, but his fantasy value doesn't really change much, if at all, in Detroit. He'll still be on the mound for a playoff-caliber team and still be one of the best pitchers in the game. Jackson loses some value going to a weaker offense, but he'll still continue to play every day. Smyly may actually benefit the most, moving from Detroit to Tampa Bay, where he'll take Price's spot in the rotation. The Rays also got 18-year-old shortstop prospect Willy Adames, but he's of no consequence to fantasy owners right now.
