LeBron James still 'game-time' decision, thrilled about Ohio State

NCAA Football: National Championship-Ohio State vs Oregon

PHOENIX — LeBron James has had enough of all these soul-sucking losses, with his Cleveland Cavaliers having dropped nine of their last 11 games and seven of eight since he went down with knee and back injuries two weeks ago.

So when he addressed the media on Tuesday morning to discuss a rare win, it was just the kind of refreshing change of pace he was hoping for. Never mind that it had nothing to do with his team.

With James and a group of associates and friends in attendance at AT&T Center in Dallas, his favorite college football team — "THE" Ohio State Buckeyes — dominated the Oregon Ducks to pull off the kind of feat that James himself still dreams of: a championship in his home state.

"It was a huge game, and I'm happy for all the guys and the state of Ohio," said James, who took a private jet to the game after Monday's practice and said he returned around 12:30 a.m.
