Miami has always belonged first to Dwyane Wade, the only player of the star trio that won the team two championships during LeBron James’ time there that started and will likely finish his career in a Heat uniform. But as he’s done so many times before, he ceded the offcourt spotlight during James’ return on Thursday to not only James but also James Jones who received a video tribute from his former team. Even Chris Bosh was the one who wished fans happy holidays.
But during the game, which the Heat won 101-91, something happened: Wade absolutely took over.
