LANDOVER, Md. — DeMarco Murray set a Dallas Cowboys single-season rushing record Sunday.

Murray's 32-yard romp in the first quarter against the Washington Redskins broke Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith's former franchise mark (1,773 yards), which was set in 1995, the last time the Cowboys were Super Bowl champions.
