Lindsey Vonn says Tiger Woods helps her deal with pressure

Being under the microscope may help Vonn going into the Olympics.

.Earlier this week, Lindsey Vonn was walking the fairways of Muirfield Village along with boyfriend Tiger Woods as he competes in the President’s Cup, but she made a quick trip north Saturday to make an appearance at Mt. Brighton in Michigan. Vonn met with a large group of youth ski racers and spoke about her life as a young athlete. After meeting with a group of around 50 kids, Vonn fielded questions and spoke with the press. Inevitably, the topic of Tiger Woods came up, and Vonn revealed that her relationship with Tiger has taught her how to cope with pressure.

“He understands pressure and he understands, obviously, competing at an extremely high level. It’s difficult for me going into big events like the Olympics because there’s so much more pressure and media attention, and he gets that every single day. So it’s nice to be able to talk to him about it and we can relate to each other’s lives so well. So I think that’s one of the reasons why we work.”

Vonn made it back to Ohio for the final day of the President’s Cup, where she got her cart stuck in the soggy grass.
