Cowboys' confidence soaring with NFC East sealed

USP NFL: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS AT DALLAS COWBOYS S FBN USA TX
ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick pulled off his jersey and shoulder pads before even leaving the field at AT&T Stadium Sunday and sprinted toward the locker room, where a brand new navy blue NFC East champions shirt was awaiting him in his locker.

"Where's my T-shirt? Where's my (expletive) T-shirt?" Scandrick said.

There were plenty of butt-pats, shoulder-slaps, high fives, loud whooping and shouting and so many grins as the rest of the Cowboys made their way into the locker room. Only Scandrick and five other Cowboys players knew this feeling of winning the NFC East, something the Cowboys haven't done since 2009.

The Cowboys clinched the division with a resounding 42-7 win against the Indianapolis Colts. It was Dallas' third consecutive win, and it came a day after top division rival Philadelphia lost to the Washington Redskins to clear the Cowboys a direct path to the division title.
