Andrew Luck saved the Colts’ season last night

(USA TODAY Sports)

The Colts could have folded. Luck didn’t let them.

Today’s big winner: Andrew Luck

The Colts’ season could have ended last night. Scoff if you want to, but down 14-0 to Tennessee, on the brink of losing two consecutive games, with the Titans looking to move just a game behind them in the AFC South, things could have gone bad fast in Indianapolis.

The difference between 7-3 and 6-4 is huge in the AFC.

But not quite as immense as the difference between having a quarterback like Andrew Luck and not. There are intangibles elite quarterbacks have that great quarterbacks do not. Leadership is one of those intangibles. There are guys that are capable of leading by example but not by voice. There are plenty more that have no problem talking the game but struggle to play it.

Luck can do both. He proved it last night at halftime when the Colts were trailing 17-6.
